Mindful Photography Workshop

Miranda G. will lead this engaging group every Thursday for 90 minutes at 7:00 PM ET.

The Mindful Photography workshop is a 6-week virtual offering designed to have students engage in a fun and lasting interest that will help them feel connected to the world at large.  

Everyone encourages mindfulness.  But what the heck IS mindfulness?  
 
For any of you who are looking for a way to enjoy mindfulness in an unconventional way, welcome!  Join us for a transformative (and fun) journey through the lens in our Mindful Photography Workshop. This unique program is designed to help you cultivate mindfulness while exploring the art of photography. 
 
Each week, you will engage in inspiring photo projects that encourage you to be present and allow you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the moment. Our sessions will include education on various photo techniques, all aimed at enhancing your mindfulness and creative expression. 
 
In addition to learning technical skills, you’ll find inspiration from fellow participants as we explore the stories we tell through our photographs. Sharing our individual perspectives and thoughts, we will create a supportive community where each voice is heard and valued. 
 
Participants will gain psychological benefits such as increased awareness, reduced stress, and a deeper connection to the present moment. By focusing on the world through your camera, you will have the opportunity to develop a greater appreciation for the beauty around you and a create a generally heightened sense of well-being that you can carry with you every day.
