Path: Breathwork Basics MUST be taken before Calming the Mind

Building on the foundational concepts and exercises covered in Breathwork: Basics, Calming the Mind takes participants to another level. The three exercises covered in this intensive workshop are all geared toward calming the mind, ideal for reducing anxiety and inducing the relaxation response. Basic mindfulness concepts will be introduced before we delve into the first deep breathing exercise.

At the end of class, participants will be armed with three different techniques which, if practiced, will provide the foundation for releasing tension and managing stress more effectively.

Participants are asked to wear loose fitting clothing and have a comfortable spot where they can lie down comfortably and still hear the facilitator. Attendees will receive a handout at the end of the session, with step by step instructions on how to perform each exercise covered.           

NOTE: Due to the more advanced nature of these exercises, Breathwork: Basics is a prerequisite for this workshop. For some people, deep breathing can worsen cognitive and physiological anxiety, because of this ALL participants must have some experience with breathwork and understanding of how it affects them.
