Path: Breathwork Basics MUST be taken before Energizing the Body

Building on the foundational concepts and exercises covered in Breathwork: Basics, Energizing the body explores ways we can use our breath to efficiently invigorate and rejuvenate ourselves. The three exercises covered in this intensive workshop are all geared toward energizing the body, ideal for releasing toxins and improving respiratory functioning and circulation.
Through the Three Part Breath, participants will be introduced to the concept of Pranayama (pranayama) which forms the foundation for Yogic Breathing. At the end of class, participants will be armed with three different techniques which, if practiced, will enable them to reinvigorate themselves with vital energy and balance their sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
Participants are asked to wear loose fitting clothing and will receive a handout at the end of the session with step by step instructions on how to perform each exercise covered.         

NOTE: Due to the more advanced nature of these exercises, Breathwork: Basics is a prerequisite for this workshop. For some people, deep breathing can worsen cognitive and physiological anxiety, because of this ALL participants must have some experience with breathwork and understanding of how it affects them.
